his show was really good last year!!
his show was really good last year!!
I have to chime in here and say I saw him at a fest last year
and it is some of the most annoying schticky crap i have ever seen
any festival who wastes a slot and money on this guy is taking that away from ANYONE who would be more deserving
its clown music for a circus, cant stand it
hes just a goofball
im sorry , but the fest i was at was small and they wasted a good headliner slot on this guy and it just plain sucked

Well people have their opinions i guess..I saw him last weekend and it was a great show!
I disagree with treetop's assesment of That1Guy's talent, but do understand that some might not find his brand of kool-aid especially tasty. I think he's amazing and interesting, and well worth a mid-tier slot at any fest.
Sure, it's gimmicky, but he pulls it off well and jams out some very good music with that contraption. It's better than a laptop dj in my book.
i dig it, ive just heard so many people say he was great and interesting, and i was let down
to each thier own

he is great and I watch both of his sets last year.
Yeah i really like That 1 Guy. I've seen him four times, last Sunday being the latest. I enjoy all of his shows. that instrument he's created is awesome i think. and to top it off he is a really cool guy. we shot the sh*t for a minute on sunday. I'd probably catch him again if he was at Waka.
I saw him jam with buckethead at Waka in 08. that was incredible.
cburger07: His Buckethead jam was AWESOME! I don't really care to listen to his albums, but seeing him live is a real treat. One of those things that has to be witnessed in person, I guess.
To be fair, does anyone look bad when they're playing with Buckethead? Everytime I've seen him with someone he's sounded better and the other artist has sounded better than they did apart.
If you've seen That One Guy two times was the second time different than the first? I saw him at a club in Omaha and later at Waka. I started to wonder if his songs were appreciably different, not only his sets. I liked his set the first time. It is a good thing to see once.
