Does anyone perform on Wednesday during the night?
So from what I understand early arrival is 4pm on Wednesday... other than prime camping spots does Wakarusa have anything to do that night?
And do you suggest getting wasted and passing out if you come on Wednesday because people will start rampaging for spots at Midnight?
I imagine its crazy at midnight...
any suggestions? im driving 14 hours or so to get there trying to plan the attack a bit.
A couple bands perform on the Backwoods Stage on Wednesday night. Mountain Sprout tore it up last year!
Getting wasted and passing out the first night? My only advice is that the festival is a marathon, not a sprint!

My '09 strategy, get blackout drunk at George's for Telepath on Wednesday wake up at Waka Thursday afternoon ready to party for real (I apparently set up my tent and partied with security until about 8 AM along the way).
My '10 strategy, eat myself into a coma at some fine Arkansas BBQ joints, get to Waka at Midnight-ish, get blackout drunk and fall asleep by 3 AM, wake up Thursday ready to party for real.
I guess the gist is, Wednesday night is for getting super drunk to counteract the "kid on Christmas eve" syndrome and fall asleep early enough to be functional the rest of the weekend (because if you're like me, sleep kind of becomes an afterthought after about noon Thursday).
