Default A great idea for Wakarusa!!!!

I think something like this would really boost ticket sales by a ton.

Apparently all the links to US paper's story on this don't work anymore. The story got pulled. Basically, it was about a midget wrestling team in Tanzania that claimed that they could take on a lion. There were 42 midgets and 28 of them died during the match. They called the match at that point and it was over.

So basically 1 lion took out 28 midgets.

I don't think they generally like being called 'midgets'. . . or associated with such ludicrous slapstick humor.

That's not my language...it's the language of the BBC article. If I had to guess, the BBC chose that language because the group involved characterized themselves as a \"midget wrestling team.\" And that language was only being used, as was in the case of my post, to describe this particular group....not all individuals of a particular category.

It's not slapstick humor. It was a true article. The team chose to be involved in the event (proving that this group DID choose to be associated with such ludicrous slapstick humor) and it is humorous at the level that anytime anyone does something really, really dumb, it's kind of funny....I imagine we'll see this one in the darwin awards
