Gonna be a tough one.. but I'll try

1. Ben Harper - The Relentless7 stuff was awesome but his solo acoustics were priceless for me
2. Galactic- either set, although I liked the Revival one better cause I just watched and danced at my campsite for the mainstage show
3. Thievery Corp
4. Ghostland (best light show I've ever seen)
5. Quixotic
6. Honey Island Swamp Band (Backwoods is so intimate I loved it!!)
7. STS9 (Revival)
7. JJ Grey & Mofro
8. Emancipator- Satellite stage for sunrise with that music was absolutely magical!
9. Grace Potter- I sang that baptism song every time I took a dip into the Mulberry! "Nothing but the water!"
10. I loved everything else so much I'll put it all at my top 10.

You know really it's so hard to make this list because of the perspective you have while watching. Your attitude and mind frame have as much to do with it as setting. I'm a huge MoFro fan so you would assume he would be my #1, but I've seen him in way more intimate settings while in better moods, so he wasn't my #1. On the other hand, I'm a huge Galactic fan and have seen them numerous times in more intimate settings. This was my first show to see them covering their new album with Corey Glover, and I was at the very front in a great state of mind, so that show was just perfect for me. The Emancipator sunrise set, even though I didnt dance much, was one of the highlights of Waka this year because of the setting (Satellite at sunrise was the place to be!). I could go to the same Wakarusa 10 different times and have 10 different top acts. That's just how good the quality of music was.

1. My Morning Jacket!! (first time to see and was very surprised by live vs. cd)
2. STS9(Friday night-loved the outdoor vibe vs. the tent on Saturday)
3. JJ Grey & Mofro(one of my all time favorite bands)
4. Franti(first time to see him-what a great party he was)
5. Sharon Jones & Dap Kings (she never stopped moving!)
6. Mumford & Sons(just wanted to see live-didn't seem to fit though but enjoyed)
7. Umphrey's (sat on the hill outside of main camping and laid back to enjoy)
8. Rebelution
9. March Forth Marching Band (what a great surprise and boosted the energy)
10. Ben Harper (because he has to be listed somewhere out of respect. Was disappointed though for my first time seeing him)

Thievery and Shpongletron were by far my two favorite shows of the weekend. The rest were awesome and there are some great shows that didn't make the top 10.

while i enjoyed the sts9 sets, i cannot put either of them in my top 10 because i had much higher expectations for them, esp sat night in that tent. after playing all their new songs friday (2012, when the dust settles, scheme) i thought we were for sure gettin some old school gems saturday.
