Sounds like a fun pre-fest corroboree. We're an ex-US/Brit couple of Aussies coming from the land down under so we may be your furthest flung guests (& probably the oldest). The more I read about Waka this is gonna shine brighter than Bonnaroo 5 days later. Not sure how these 60+ bods will hold up with 2 fests in 2 weeks. Also, finishing up with the North Mississippi Allstars Hill Country Picnic at the end of June plus any music in between. Still not too old to dance!

Ya their music is very easy to listen to . I love them and I can't wait to see how this all comes together. We are trying to get this Conway show going . Its's on April 13th and seems like just not enough time lol but we must push on !! I will keep posting stuff about the band and HAPPY WAKA!!

WOW ! when I read this I was so excited to hear you are coming all the way from the down under! Welcome , Welcome! Waka has been a life changing experience for My hubby and I since they decided to come to our small town. We have enjoyed meeting all the people and Jamily and figured we MUST do somthing awsome to celebrate the Forum and Waka. We would love to meet you and are so glad you want to come to our house and celebrate with us. Let us know what time you are arriving and if you need any help getting here . We will try to do what we can to help make your journey easy and fun. Wonderful that you picked Waka for your trip and you won't be dissapointed. Waka is amazing and the people are loving and beautiful. We try to do all we can to help everyone have an easy trip to Waka and there will be drinks and snacks to enjoy. Was wondering if by chance you might be able to bring a bottle of somthing we can't get here in the states , to share with everyone? I'm not sure what they have down there but it would be the hit of the party and somthing different to share. If you can't , no worries . There has been alot going on in our lives this past couple of week. First the death of our friend Dewitt and then trying to raise money and do funeral stuff for the family, then right into an intervention for one of our CaliBilly members.. 5 day process and still counting lol. Now trying to get OUR lives back on track and focus on what we got planned for the summer! I am so glad I have this to look foreward to and all of you who will be joining us will for sure be a spirit lifting experience. Waka is coming quick and we are frantically weaving our way down the rainbow road to Waka. We hope that everything goes as planned and know that all of you are lights in our lives. Thank you all for loving us and coming to share this experience at our house. We are trying to do all we can to bring our Jamily closer to eachother and keep the music alive forever!! Can't wait to meet all of you face to face Happy Waka!!

Well now that I figured our the other issues with my iphone , It decided to not hold a charge or even turn on. I did save my contacts by sending them to my email but I swear this phone is out to get me. If anyone needs anything or wants to get in touch with us Johns number is (479)209-0579.. If anyone can give me any advice on this issue it would be much appreacated ! I have a jail broken phone so going to the at&t store isn't gonna be an option for us. I like this idea a lot, i'll be in AR on wednsday afternoon although i'm not sure when exactly. It may take some convincing to get my group there but i think i can hack it - they're all a little shy and i'm the only one who is on the forum - so i'll let you know if i can make it in a few weeks when the driving situation is all set.

Sounds good. It is pretty much an all day event so no worries on time and the caravan is done at about 11 or 12 am so you will have plenty of time to get here for that. Can't wait to meet you in person!!
