Beer and food in VIP Camping.

I bring a small camp stove and a Bialetti stove top espresso maker.

Purchased one last year - excellent investment. Quick zowie that confused the neurons with moka and double ipa first thing in the morning. Too bad that ipa companion is a waka only mode.

The three cup Bialetti Moka Express seems to just rock at the right level. Gurgle, gurgle, a little milk in the cup, and ready to go. I may have to fire mine up tomorrow morning with this reminder of its contribution to what's good and right in the world. Oh, if I would have had that fountain of alertness as a student.

Welcome arkomer, VIP for waka is certainly a unique experience compared to other festivals.

1. They give you a punch card that you turn in once all the beer icons are punched out and you're given another one. No limit until the keg taps and they have to change it out. Last year they had 3 types of Boulevard to choose from. Midnight is the cutoff time if I remember correctly.
2. Food is served at certain times and I only caught dinner one night just barely. The vendor's are not expensive at all (relative to other festivals) and the quality is great! I would suggest to bring your own stuff just in case.

First time at Waka. Not the first time doing VIP at these fests.

1) They give you a punch card that you just get punched, then when it's empty they give you another one? Wow! Awesome indeed. I'll still do my requisite "bring 5 cases of beer so I have enough for myself and some to share with those that stop by, or my neighbors when I pull up", but that is awesome.

2) As long as their food is better than this gem I got at one fest I think I'll be happy.

I didn't realize that was the extent of the awesomeness of the sandwich until I got back to my table. I opened the sandwich up expecting some cheese or avocado and found that bull****. Hence the need to get photographic evidence of the extent of said awesomeness
