Default teggers, b*st*rd, ~dave~~wave~, KB and other veterans!

As you may have noticed, the message board is becoming more popular during the "off season". I remember only a few years ago where I could go a couple of days in the winter, and not even see a single new post. Therefore, the "off season" has become a only slight lull when compared to April/May. I've really started to notice this the last couple of months....and that's a GOOD THING!

I wanted to take a few minutes and thank you guys for helping report spam and answering questions for new people. Even though some of the answers are in the FAQ section of the website, it takes a special effort to help people out on an individual basis. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time to be on the board as I used to, so the effort you guys put into that means a lot to myself and KB. And it certainly translates into a better festival experience for the people asking the questions.

A while back, we put in a few additional measures to help combat spam. It seemed to work pretty well for awhile, but I've noticed that our spam quantity has been steadily increasing the past couple months. I'll have to check into any additional options that may be available.

When you guys report it using the (!) at the bottom of the posting box, it automatically sends dual links (for the thread and the post) directly to my e-mail. So when I get up in the mornings all groggy and such, I don't have to log-in and search for all these spam posts that occurred during the night. I can simply click on the provided link and it takes me right to the post. A few seconds and keystrokes later, I'm done.

So anyway, thank you and keep up the good work!!!

Seconded, the spam gets cleaned pretty quick around here.

When you look at a post, you can see the blue bar across the top and the gray bar at the bottom. In the bottom gray bar, there is an exclamation point (!) in a triangle, bottom left corner. If you see a spam post, click on that!

    Thanks!!

That's the button that sets Fleet Alert at condition red which then launches your alert Vipers. Then we spin up the FTL and get the frak out of there before any loss of human life. Please note that the Cylon race did reduce us from 12 planets worth of population to a mere 47,000 people fleeing for their lives through the blackness of the abysmally infinite outer space. Sympathizers will be frakked and tossed out the airlock. Use your magic triangle to find the human posers so we can rid this fleet of any toaster infestations...

There's nothing cooler than the machines gone wild scene in maximum overdrive, with the who made who throwin down, and the bridge going up.

As I have said before, if the Cylons we had to deal with around here were like Boomer and Number 6, I'd be happy to wade through them ALL day.....

I can't remember who, but one or two of those girls were pretty hot, as well as cylon, is that right? Sorry, the name was given to me in college for my ability to enter a room and within 5 minutes destroy

said room. I didn't catch much of the original or the remakes. But I do remember a cheesylike quality to the whole production.
