That is what we were thinking about doing also. But with a big tent . Than everyone can use it along with us. If we are in tent city we will go with gas I guess but If we make it to RV , we will have electric yay! and can share the air with everyone! there will be enough room in ours for about 10 people or so . But yes the window unit set up is the way to go. Maybe it wont be too hot this year but we can always dream hahahahaha...

Scott, I'm thinking you like the inside of that shelter quite a bit too! hehehe!
Hey, a guy's gotta get shade somehow...

Check out the manufacturer's website - it's a company called Tentsile. They make some incredible tent-structures that keep you off the ground!

The best comments are from people discussing how it is zombie-proof since the undead can't climb, or the folks calling the tent a "bear piņata".

I've also done the tent ac before, I'll have to Arkansas engineer a method like Mr Cheese. To save a giant hole in my new tent.

I'm not really sure how my hubby is gonna rig it but he said he knows a way to do it without cutting a hole in the tent somehow. I'll keep ya posted . He is probably just blowing smoke up my A** as usual but we'll soon see. But we MUST have cool air.. It's way too hot and I will share as much air as I can with everyone

Oh I just remembered another saving grace, bring one of those plastic dish pans and fill it with cold water and soak those dirty tired hot hippy feet. Saved me at about 3 in the afternoon after wandering around and before I got my groove on at night. This year I'm gonna bring some epsom salts and herbs for a more gourmet cool down.

My wife brings the peppermint foot soak, and it's amazing. Good tip, Katiegirl!

I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.
Some come from ahead and some come from behind.
But I've bought a big bat.
    I'm all ready you see.
Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!
