Wow what is this ? I have been promoting Waka locally for years and would love a chance to help out on the record lol. I helped get an article about Chompdown in last months edition of REVEL magizine out of Conway ,Ark. We do Chompdown,I am trying to bring love and family to waka as we live locally and invite forum folks to our house for a shower or snacks and just a local spot to meet up or get info on our town. Also this year we are hosting the band Don't Stop Please , here at our house for the Pre Waka Forum gathering. We live here in Ozark. Currently I am providing a spot for some vendors to crash out during fest. Although we love to have all of this in our lives and wanna help Waka,it gets expensive and time comsuming and would be nice to at least have a place to feel appreicated and welcomed as a Volenteer promoter lol.We try to help Waka as much as we can and it's about time someone posted somthing like this as all the little people who get the word out need to be reconized sometimes. Living locally has it's perks and I am doing everything to show our town and the people in the towns around us that Waka has done alot or our area finance wise. We do sometimes feel that no one really knows how much some of us put into this and it is nice to see that the Volunteers who keep Waka alive throughout the year have a place to talk and be heard Much love ...Sarah

@CaliBilly: Its a promote in exchange for free stuff program. You go out amongst the local populace or your village and you bring the good word of WAKA to their ears. Much like Jesus in the times of the Holy Roman EMpire, you can be the messenger for a new and holy movement! Check out the site, they give you all the promotional material and you just document it where you placed it with pics and what not (or it didn't happen). Then you wait a minute for THE system to circulate and eventually they bring you good news of your excellent deeds towards mankind.
