Best place to meet-up w/ latecomers?

Unfortunately my friends & I can't coordinate driving in together since they are slackers ~hahaha~ would the best place to meet up with them be the 24 hour coffeeshop? Maybe the General store? Is there a message board to leave notes or directions to our campsite?
Also, I know we're technically not supposed to save spots, but if they park their cars elsewhere would they be able to drag a tent over to our spot later on?
