    Cool Riverside Camping?!

Two of my friends want to go just to camp out with us...
Do they have to have a ticket to the festival if all they want to do is camp with us?

    Gracias,

That is a good question, but yes, I am nearly certain that you must have a wristband before you can set up camp.

Hmm, well to set up camp you have to exchange your ticket for a camping decal, but I don't believe wristbands get checked down at Riverside. They wouldn't be able to get into the fest grounds at the top of the mountain however. There are check points right when you get off the shuttle. That would be one open, hot, interesting camping trip for sure.

I'm not sure how anyone could go and camp here and not get the reward of the fest. tell em to cough up the cash and enjoy the show.

Syntax error...Does not compute.....I might report you for that. That would be the cruelest of cruels my friend. To just have to sit there and watch everybody take-off to the show. aggggghhhhhh! Get it off me!!!!

And then when they all came back!!!! With the "DUDE! Did you see that guy crash the drum set!?" No thank you. Momma always said nothing good happens at your campsite between 4 and 4....... AM that izzzzzz! Woooooooo! high five katiegirl3! BAMNMM!

I believe that your friends should rethink this plan. It could be worse than waterboarding. Someone get them a ticket!!!

Hesitated to even answer this one, (as I noticed most of us did, based on the early lack of response vs views ).
Agree on the answers so far, mostly why would anyone go to just camp? Hope your friends go to see music, not just camp...

To answer you question, no they dont have to have a ticket to camp down there if you have the pass. I met several people back in 2010 that didnt have a wristband that were camping, but they were scrounging around to get money for some day passes, as I would hope your friends will do
