I would never picked up anything after seeing someone drop it except to give it back to them immediately!

yea sorry man I think I phrased that poorly. I was saying the guy who grabbed your cash and ran was a thief. I found $60 on the ground at the bar a couple months ago, and I was about to leave but ordered another beer to wait and see if a person came by looking around for money to give it back. But if I hadn't taken it, somebody else would have, and that person would very unlikely be the owner
