I am currently in the process of cooking 30 breakfast burritos to freeze. Ham, sausage, bacon, eggs, cheese and mushrooms, rolled in a whole wheat tortilla, wrapped in aluminum foil, stuffed in a ziploc. When I wake up every morning, it's much easier to get a couple of these burritos out of the fridge and heat them up on the grill.

    20 down, 10 to go!

Last year I cooked burgers and chicken breasts and vacuum packed them two to a bag and froze them. Then I heated them up by putting the sealed bag in a covered pot of water on the camp stove. Worked like a charm. This year we're only bringing food that won't require heating.

One of my go-to quick snack/lunch at Waka (and home too!) was tuna. I'd eat it straight out of the pouch or put a little on a cracker with cheese. Grab some pouches of mayo next time you're at a convenience store & use that to mix up a little tuna salad if you prefer. (hard boiled eggs are another quick & easy thing)
Tuna is easy & great energy food.

    pouch of chicken meat.
pouch of minute rice (your favorite variety -- I like wild rice/dirty rice)

heat chicken meat in a skillet on the camp stove or grill, then mix in the rice until heated. you can dump in a can of soup if you are feeling adventurous

Momma didn't raise no fool. That stuff is a kitchen magic secret.

Last year I did not do as much pre cooking and security made me scrape it out into a cup at the gate and confiscated the jar. Those jars are so small and thick it would take the Hulk to break one. Oh well.....
