    Default Satellite Stage

I'm not touching any of these other threads, but wanted to hear some feedback regarding the Satellite Stage?

We became very aquainted with Satellite stage and every show we saw there was alot of fun! Something about the personal, close feel that it had. I had a really funny, big guy give me a very kind but big bear hug when he saw my SMILE-more t-shirt the first time we headed down so I should have known it was a good omen!

I really enjoyed the satellite stage. Saw some really jamming acts however missed some acts I was looking forward to.

I had some big problems with the stage's set up. The fact that the stage area is tilted downwards towards the stage made dancing much more difficult than needed. Because of this I elected to see acts on the main stage or revival tent over this stage.

Has this occurred in years past as well?

Ditto. That's two years in a row for me.

Epic is all I can say.

Gramatik, Keys & Krates, Michael Menert, Nobody Beats the Drum. EVERYONE WAS AMAZING.

this year was hard to make it to because of rain and the majority of the best shows are LAAATE. See ya there next year with glowsticks

^^agreed. besides revival and main, that was my favorite place to hang all weekend. that stage has a very comforting/exciting feel that starts on the walk down. I got over the slant real quick. the one way to get past that is to keep moving all the way down until you are what i call up in the ****. its nice and level down there.

I don't know who I even saw.....but I was down there a couple times.......Friday night I went down around 4:30 and danced past sunrise right up front, I had a blast. The chill out zone off to the side of the path on the way down is worthy as well......every time I've been there I've had unusual/interesting conversations.

Love the Sat stage. I was sort of hoping that they would expand it a little this year...the place was PACKED for Gramatik. Can we get a little more room down there next year Waka? Pretty Please?? I'd hate to see any trees cut down, but maybe get rid of some of the brush?

i noticed things get pretty weird over there at the satellite stage hahah. man, i wish i could of seen rdj2 there on sat night. that was the only let down all weekend.
but no worries, we made the night by jamming and watching fire right off shakedown til the sunrise. one of the best nights I've had in a long good while.
