    Default Instant Live

Does anyone know if they are going to be providing this service at Wakarusa? They had it at Langerado, but they didn't really advertise it. I would love to have all of my favorite shows on disc when I leave the fest.

Anyone know? Huh? Do ya, huh?

They were there last year. I'm pretty sure they'll be there this year.

Don't forget that Wakarusa was also very supportive of tapers last year. You can find many of the band sets posted online at sites such as archive.org for free if you are willing to wait a few weeks for the tapers to get them posted.

I would just like to have a few of the shows before I even leave the grounds. I'd like to support this service so that it is still around at smaller venues. The sound quality that comes from a tapers rig is sometimes less than lovely. I have nothing against tapers, I actually wish I had the time and patience to tape, but with Instant Live I know it's going to be good, and I have it immediately. Good times!

I've been listening to some sets from Waka 04' a LOT lately. I bought Hairy Apes BMX, Particle, the Motet, and Jacob Fred Jazz Oddyssey and they are all damn awesome. I can't wait to buy a bunch more this year.

I found this service to be pretty crappy. My Tishamingo set is missing the first 2 songs. My Ekoostik Hookah sounds worse than the audience recording I got. My Split Lip Rayfield is the only decent one I got, and at $10 a pop, it's just not worth it.

I'll be bringing all my gear with me to tape, and I'll have it all up on the archive, or on bt.etree or on cotapers.org or taperssection.com. Just check them. I have to make a list of what I want to tape though.
