I brought 6 friends from out of state this year and will likely double my numbers in 2006! Keep up the good work. Tell the Chamber of Commerce that collectively, our camp spent close to $1500 in Lawrence on food, drink, supplies, gas and stuff. Do the math--that's a lot of cash coming to the Lawrence pocket book. I don't care what the LJ World says, Wakarusa Fest is good for the local economy!

2 small suggestions: Book more girl singers next year, and stock more portapotties and have more toilet paper. That's it.
