Have you tried tylenol and chiggerex? FYI for next year--All I did this year after the first day was spray my feet and ankles really good with deet off.
Try rubbing alcohol, clear finger nail polish and cortazone. It helps, but I'm still itching two weeks later.
They are never going to go away it seems. There's got to be something that could be done about these chiggers for next year. They seriously might be the only reason I wouldn't go back. Or maybe the only 100 reasons...and counting.
Have you tried soaking in a tub of water with a cup of bleach in it?
I like to scratch with napalm-tipped SOS pads.
Or dip the ol steel wool in some margarita salt!

my word of wisdom is
Lancets.
you should be rid of your chiggers by now..
I've got about 50 chigger bites on both ankles, calfs, and feet right now. These are from an outdoor party this past Saturday night. I'm using chigarid and will try bleach when I get hom tonight. Freaking chiggers are such a pain in the ass.
