    is this event kid friendly??
went to bonnaroo last year w/out the kids and would like to bring our 7 & 13 year olds to a festy. they are no stranger to shows having seen phish and the dead many times & they love camping.
also would I need tickets for them?

    Hi-

There should be kids show(s) and even a KinderMusic Kids homemade instrument workshop hosted by DFPP.

I wondered the same thing last year and didn't bring them (although I wish I had especially it being father's day and all).

Bring your kids. The workshops were cool. Nothing better then seeing a 6yo playing an instrument or making artwork.

Also, I hope the percussion vendor along with the fire jugglers come back. I walked by one time and saw a kid less then 10 getting a drum lesson on a full drum kit. How cool was that!

last year was so kid friendly and would have been great, but keep in mind that it will probably be A LOT more crowded this year and may be more difficult. kinda like how bonaroo was all right for kids the first year, but as each year passes, it gets a little scarier.

I can't find any information on kid's tickets, if such a thing exists. Any break in price?

Children under 12 will be admitted free of charge. More information will be posted on this soon.

We brought our girls last year (4 and 6). We survived the rain (which flooded our tent) and loud music tell 3:00am and we still had a great time. The girls still talk about it and were very excited to find out we got tickets for this year, too. If you have any specific worries or questions let my know.
