Thread: Disc Golf...

    Default Disc Golf...

Sooo.. disc golf seems pretty cool. I've never tried it before but I am a frisbee maniac and it sounds really groovy and all but I think I read somewhere... I can't remember where but, we have to pay to play disc golf? Is that true or am I mistaken? Seems kinda lame that we spend like 130 bucks on a ticket and can't get some free disc golf going on. Also, as a side note.... are the shoewers there free as well, or no?

Usually pay to play disc golf varies from course to course, as well as some where you just have to pay to park.
I've got my plans in a ziplock bag, lets see how unproductive we can be.

I think the disc golf is provided by the park so it should b free. if u go do some regular golf, that u gotta pay for.

and they're chargin $4 for showers.

Every course I have ever played is free (except for the occasional, ie. once, parking fee).

Last year at Waka, the only thing the disc golf course cost me was two discs (about $20).

Can't wait to get another round in!

I am meeting up with a lot of friends from around the country (and the British Isle!) at this years Waka who have never played disc golf, but are way interested... Possibly because I like to get a round in almost everyday atleast... Which is helped by a course about a 5 minute walk from my house.

Anyways... Disc golf is just ANOTHER reason why Wakarusa is THE festival of the year!
