Cell phone service at Wakarusa?

Is there a cell phone tower close enough to Clinton Lake State Park that our cell phones will work, specifically Cingular?

My T Mobile worked fine last year. Text messages are the way to go, since you generally can't hear the phone over the music!

Cingular worked fine last year. You are basically in the town of Lawrence (literally like 2 miles), so I would assume any cell provider wont be a problem.

Unfortunately I have Verizon and found that last year I had trouble getting a signal in lots of places. I pretty much only used texting and still had to walk around holding my phone in the air just to get them to send.

Yes, Cingular works fine. Nextel's will be spotty. I'm not sure about other providers.

nextel sucked ass last year as did sprint. I have virgin mobile and it was working but ran out of battery juice...
