05.24.2007 STRING CHESSE INCIDENT CONFIRMED, TREY ANASTASIO CANCELS

The 10,000 Lakes Festival announces the addition of The String Cheese Incident to the lineup, confirming a Minnesota performance on their summer tour. The Colorado-based group has spent more than a decade making innovative, genre-defying music and will perform two sets at the 10,000 Lakes Festival Friday, July 20 on the Main Stage.

?The String Cheese Incident is thrilled to be returning to 10KLF for the third time and are looking forward to performing in the North Woods once again,? says SCI manager Mike Luba.

10KLF announces today that guitarist Trey Anastasio will be unable to perform at the event in 2007 due to circumstances beyond control. Anastasio's spokesperson confirms \"Trey is disappointed he is unable to play the festival this year but is looking forward to returning for the 2008 event.\"

I wish they would play at Waka! I mean half the band is going to be there already and this is their LAST tour!

I could also deal with one last round of SCI at Waka before they melt down. I haven't been a fan in years but I could still dig them one last time.

Too bad for Trey. I hope he gets better.....

yeah i wouldn't mind one last SCI show. seeing them in 2001 was what first turned me on to the whole jamband thing. my love for them kinda dwindled over the years but i could go for one last show from them.

Saw SCI at Waka '05 and have to say that an SCI audience is definitely one of the best crowds to be a part of, not to mention the music is pretty damn fantastic too.
