March 22 is Natl. Corndog Day. Just thought you should all be aware.

...as a new resident of the Land Of Enchantment, I can't wait to try that!

Freakin everything here has green chili and I LOVE IT! I'm in Albuquerque right now doing some house hunting. Lunch? Green Chili burgers of course.

Let's see if before National Corn Dog Day, I can come up with a Bacon Corn Dog recipe....

Buy a corndog from the vendor inside the festy at Waka - hand-dipped, not frozen - the first time I bought one I thought \"$5 for a corndog? I'm being ripped off\" - but then I tasted the delectable goodness and supreme happiness of this sacred meat-on-a-stick, and realized that it was a great value.

Even at the end, when they ran out of meat dogs, I had a veggie dog and thought it was fantastic.

Derek is the guy who runs it (met him in '06), and it's the best corndog I've ever had.

Hmmm.....wonder what I\"m havin' for lunch.......

First the weenie spends some time communicating it's feelings to the Corney batter. Then he offers some wine, normally a Zinfandel. Maybe then, a bit of smoke, some talk of Nietzche and Troma films, then...

...then he enters her. The swollen ball-parkian girth of himself thrusting deep into the sacred pool of her mealy, honey-sweet nougat-batter. When he pulls out, he is covered with her.......her-self.

After post-coital dip into the frying tub, corn-cuzzi if you will, he is a new being. Not just corn, and far from an ordinary dog...it is a succulent log of wholesome, state-fair qualled goodness.
