I love this list! I have it saved on my computer, but thanks for reminding me it's not too early to think about packing!!!

That list is incredibly helpful! Thanks Sunflower. I'll have to say though, that each year I have taken less & less, and still been very well prepared. I feel like I'm a veteran camper already. Ha! I even have a Rubbermaid tub loaded with camping essentials so they are always at hand!
As a person who always packs too much, I can say that this list has everything, and more, that you could ever need. This is the list I use every time I go to a festival. Thanks for posting it again sunflower.
After last year, I saved it and created an Excel file......removing some of the things I don't use (like the camping with children section) and added a \"Chompdown\" section.
This is a GREAT list, folks. If you use it to pack, you won't forget anything. Thanks for the repost Andrea![]()

Me too! This is my 3rd Waka this year and I'm practically ready already. Most of my camping essentials are neatly organized in 2 Rubbermaid tubs...the rest will come together easily, all I have to do is a little shopping to replace things that are low. YAY! I'm sooooo excited!!
Bump...In case anyone hasn't seen this. This is one of the best checklists I've seen.
Pay particular attention to #3. I hate to admit this, but my first year to Waka, I put my tickets in a very special spot so I wouldn't forget them. As I packed up my car I marked everything off, including my tickets. Well about 300 miles into my trip from Chicago to Lawrence, I realized...I forgot my tickets!!![]()

What to do???? Fortunately my boyfriend is fabulous. He overnighted them to my parent's house in KC and all was ok.
