Default Brothers Past...perfect for a late night dance party

just saw Brothers Past Blow up the Fox in boulder. one of the best shows i have seen in years. they would be so perfect to play at waka.
so i ask the band why they aren't playing it and they said \"the booking company laughed at them when they asked to play\".
then thwy booking company said\"we have wilco and SCI on the lineup\".
Brothers Past rages harder than any band on the lineup...they mix jamband songs with huge electronica jams.
    check them out!

I'm sure we didn't laugh at them, that wouldn't be very professional or nice.

Sorry I'm not around so much these days folks. The Waka Board will always hold a very special place in my heart.
I have met so many of the most amazing souls here! Much love.

Now I'm not here to bust balls or start conflict.... But I've seen Brothers past at least 6 or so times. I do not like them at all, I dont know why really, I think their jamming is horrible, no build up and goes nowhere... this is just my opinion. I'm in the philly area so for those of you wondering why I've seen a band I dont like so many times theres part of the answer. They usually play with Lotus too; and I'd have to say I'm not big of lotus either but they blew BP away. Brothers past to me are like drugs that didn't work the way you wanted them to the first couple times, so you keep going back even though you kind of dont want to. You know?

With that said I hope BP plays at Waka, I'd check em out for a little while.
But I would have rather seen Signal Path.... so I guess that means I'll be back next year

Good luck with the Brothers Past!

I'm sorry you don't dig the band! I've always enjoyed their shows. In fact they just stopped by in Ithaca, NY last night and really rocked out pretty hard. I finally feel like these guys have found their groove and its starting to click for them!

can't wait to see them at camp bisco with bisco, the duo, and umphreys!
