Anyone knowledgeable on car racks for bikes?

I don't have a clue on the best, most affordable way to haul my bicycle on my little civic. It looks like some of the roof racks can be pricey, but I also see some other types that are less expensive. Anyone have experience in this area?

Hey swerve dog, what you want is a trunk rack. Call your local bike shop and tell them the kind of car you have and they can hook you up. The better ones fold down and allow you to get in the trunk/hatch of your car.
